My research and teaching interests in feminist rhetorics and digital writing have guided my administrative work. Working closely with graduate student instructors, faculty, and staff, I strive to enact a feminist administrative philosophy grounded in collaboration, empathy, and respect.

Working with the Graduate Director and Graduate Coordinators from Literature, Creative Writing, and Technical and Professional Communications tracks to coordinate graduate admissions, conduct yearly assessment, update curricular and graduation requirements, and provide professional development opportunities for students and faculty.

Co-Editor: Teacher’s Guide/College Composition at Miami, Summer 2012, Summer 2013. 

Collected, organized and published pedagogical material for theTeacher’s Guide, a publication for all Miami composition instructors; selected student essays and wrote editor’s notes for publication in CCM, an anthology of student writing from composition courses; worked closely with publisher and editorial team to ensure appropriate layout, copy-editing and cover design; developed new web supplements for both Teacher’s Guide and CCM.

 

Editorial Assistant: Teacher’s Guide/College Composition at Miami, Summer 2011.

Worked with editorial team to compile Teacher’s Guide for all instructors in Miami’s First-Year Composition Program; selected and wrote editor’s notes for student essays for inclusion in CCM, an anthology of student writing from composition courses.
